Is the practice on these pages free?
The first ten questions on every topic page are open to everyone, with no account and no email. Leave an email once and the rest of that page — and every other exam page on the site — opens straight away.
Are these real exam papers?
No. Every question is original practice written by us to match the shape and level of the task. We do not reproduce official papers. Check the exam board's own site for the current format before you sit the exam.
Where are my answers stored?
In your browser, and nowhere else. Answers are checked on your device and never sent to a server, so you can share a page with a class and nobody's work leaves their phone.
Which exam should I prepare for?
It depends on what the institution asking for the certificate accepts. Cambridge exams do not expire and suit school and work progression; IELTS, TOEFL and the Duolingo English Test are usually what universities and immigration authorities ask for; TOEIC is a workplace test. Check the requirement first, then pick the exam.
Can I use these pages with my class?
Yes. Share the link. Students need no account, the questions check themselves, and you can build your own version from a coursebook page with the main tool.
