The service

Pick Two Activity is a tool. A teacher uploads one or two files, an AI model drafts a class page from them, and the teacher edits it and can share it with a link. We provide the tool. We do not write, choose, review or approve what you upload or what you publish.

You must be at least 18 to hold a teacher account. Students do not need, and cannot create, accounts.

You are responsible for your content

“Your content” means everything that goes in or comes out through your use of the service: the files you upload, the notes and instructions you type, the pages generated from them, every edit you make, and every page you share. As between you and us:

• You are solely responsible for your content and for how you and your students use it.
• We are not responsible for what you generate, publish, share or do with it, or for what anyone else does with it after you share it.
• Because we do not review content before it is generated or published, we do not verify that it is accurate, lawful, appropriate for your students or free of third-party rights.
• You are responsible for checking that a page is suitable for your students before you share it.

What you may upload

You promise that you have the right to upload each file and to have it processed as described here. That includes:

• Copyright. Upload only material you wrote, material you have permission or a licence to use in this way (for example, under your school’s or publisher’s terms), or material that is openly licensed. Owning or borrowing a book does not by itself give you the right to copy or republish it.
• Personal data. Do not upload anything that contains students’ or other people’s personal information, such as names, photos, grades, health details or student work.
• Confidential or unlawful material. Do not upload anything you are not allowed to share or that is illegal.

AI-generated content

• Pages are drafted by AI models and can contain errors, unnatural English, bias or content that is unsuitable for your class. Read and edit every page before you share it.
• Generated content may resemble content generated for other users or content that exists elsewhere. We do not promise that it is unique, original or free of third-party rights.
• Generated content is not professional, legal or educational advice, and we do not guarantee that it meets any curriculum, standard or exam requirement.

Who owns what

You keep whatever rights you have in your content. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, transmit (including to the AI providers that draft your page) and display your content, only to run and improve the service for you, and to show a page publicly when you share it. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies that are technically necessary for a short time, such as backups.

As far as we have any rights in generated pages, we do not claim them: they are yours to use. We do not promise that you will have exclusive rights in generated text, because the same or similar text may be produced for others.

Publishing and sharing

A page is public only after you share it. Anyone who has the link can open it. You are the publisher of every page you share. Do not put private information on a shared page, and remember that people you send the link to can pass it on. You can make a page private again at any time, but we cannot remove copies that others have already saved.

Students and schools

Students open shared links without an account and their answers stay in their own browser. Teachers are responsible for following their school’s or district’s rules and any laws that apply to the use of online tools with students, including rules on children’s data such as COPPA and FERPA in the United States. Pick Two Activity is meant to be used by teachers, not directed at children.

Acceptable use

• No unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or otherwise harmful content, and nothing that exploits or endangers children.
• No content that infringes someone’s copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
• No impersonation, and no suggesting that your page is made, approved or endorsed by us or by a publisher or exam board.
• No attempts to overload the service, scrape it at scale, bypass limits or security, or use it to build a competing service.
• No use of the service to generate content designed to deceive or to break the rules of a school or exam.

We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules, with or without notice.

Copyright and other complaints

If you believe a public page infringes your rights, write to the contact address listed on this site with: what you own, the address of the page, why you believe it infringes, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We may remove the page and tell the person who shared it. We may end the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.

Trademarks and third parties

Product, publisher and exam names on this site, including Cambridge English and its exam names, belong to their owners and are used only to describe the level a teacher is working at. Pick Two Activity is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them. We do not provide or reproduce official exam papers or coursebook content. Availability and disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranties, express or implied, including about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or uninterrupted availability. The service, its features and its AI models may change, pause or end without notice.

Limit of our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, and we are not liable for any claim arising from your content, from content you generate or share, or from how you or anyone else uses it. Our total liability for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

If someone makes a claim about your content

You agree to defend us against, and to cover the losses and reasonable costs of, any claim brought by a third party that arises from your content, your uploads, the pages you share or your breach of these terms.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. If we make an important change, we will change the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms. You may stop using the service and delete your pages at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or to protect the service or other people.
